Dear Community,
To coincide with Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM)
celebrated throughout the month of May, let me take the opportunity to welcome you as I launch OurJNews. JAHM recognizes and honors the contributions of American Jews; the nation's history, culture and society.
In that same vein, OurJNews will present a platform dedicated to sharing news and information with its readers that covers life in the South Florida Jewish community, as well as around the world. I will continue to do (as I did not too long ago as one of the editors of a local Jewish paper) one-on-one interviews with locally and nationally-known "movers and shakers" and Holocaust and Israeli
survivors, the latest news and developments from synagogues and organizations throughout South Florida.
I invite you to share your information and thoughts with me.
